We have developed strategic alliances with Sumitomo Corporation and Sumitomo Precision Products, of Japan; to produce CompactGTL designed reactors alongside an alliance with a world class major catalyst manufacturer. This has led to the development of reactors and catalysts that were manufactured for the Petrobras Commercial Demonstration Plant, making the product more suitable for mass production in commercial volumes.
CompactGTL has developed a strategic relationship with SBM Offshore, of the Netherlands, the world’s largest Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) vessel contractor. This has allowed the ability and means of the integration of the Plant into an FPSO to be challenged, optimised and refined.
Fluor Limited is the latest strategic partner of CompactGTL focusing on the delivery of pre-FEED and FEED studies. Fluor will also support CompactGTL in the evaluation of the commercial demonstration plant operating data, execution of feasibility and scoping studies and delivery of CompactGTL’s EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) contracts.
The Company has established strong working relationships with Bayer Technology Services and The UK Welding Institute, which provide independent technical and experimental support, computer simulation models for both the Steam Methane Reformer and Fischer Tropsch reactors and catalysts and mechanical integrity analysis for the reactors.
Bayer Technology Services has been integral in providing extensive technical services in all aspects of reactor design and operation. With a development laboratory located at Bayer’s facilities; CompactGTL benefits from the technical expertise of the Bayer Technology Services’ team.
CompactGTL has been supported by Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants during conceptual process design in conceptual engineering, modelling and scoping of individual plant specifications.
